Greetings!

Hello Hello!

It has been such a long time since I updated this thing.  A lot has happened since then!  I've moved into a new place, went blonde, in between jobs, went back to a brunette haha SO many things but I can honestly say that I've gotten a bit better with the DSLR.  Since I now have extra time on my hands I'd like to re awaken this blog and transform it into something bigger the way I've always wanted it to be!  

Happy belated Independence Day!  I decided to get patriotic this year and do some 4th of July themed photos.  I rarely get to shoot people (with my camera of course) so this was especially exciting to work with a person and also myself.  This spur of the moment shoot definitely made me realize I have way too much red white and blue clothing!

Ok so I know I'm no model but it was fun dressing up and playing around with different edits.  I'm one of those people who absolutely hates when other people want to take a picture of me,  I'm only comfortable with photos that are taken by me.  I know I'm such a freak! haha.  I'm definitely comfortable being behind the lens and love taking photos of other people.  My best friend saw my photos of the flag in the background and she demanded I shoot her (with my camera again of course!).  Of course working with someone other than myself I got a bit more creative.

And then BUBBLES!

When the bubbles didn't cooperate it was hilarious.

Oh yea my dog Baxter got in on the action!

He's such a natural :p  Ok I guess I need to work on my "pet" photography haha.  

I hope all of you had an awesome weekend.  I will try my best to update this as often as I can!  Unfortunately life has thrown me into a corner again and I have no idea what the future will hold me for me as far as my career goes but I am trying to stay positive and hopeful that something will come along that I enjoy doing.  I wish I could just do photography forever but it doesn't pay the bills :/ Thank you again for visiting.  If you're a new visitor I will have a mini facts paragraph at the bottom.  Cheers!
